I have 23 followers on Twitter.
I’ve never tweeted a thing.
Which leads me to the question, “Can you follow a stationary object?”
I’m sure you see the applications to leaders.

I suppose you can call it following, but it’s really just standing behind in support of someone or something.
That’s true, but I thought it was an interesting parallel. I hear many young people say that they don’t see themselves as leaders, yet every time they turn around, there’s someone following them. So my question to them is if they’re stepping up and moving somewhere or merely asking their followers to follow a stationery object.
It goes back to my theme that if you have the gift to be able to influence people, you need to use it.
And perhaps I need to start tweeting.
