Another good post, Roy. I am so like that “What do I know…?” student. It feels like a safe place to be, you know? But I’m glad there are people like you that have the courage (and trust in God’s calling)to make things happen. An old Dutch proverb says, “Die’t kleine niet eerd, is’t grote niet weerd.” “Who doesn’t honour the small, is not worthy of the great.” Jesus brings out this point in the parable of the stretch assignment involving and handful of talents leading to major responsibility over whole cities. Paul tells people to judge earthly cases since someday they will judge angels, implying that our whole life on earth is one long stretch assignment which prepares us for our real ministry in eternity.
